Carpal Tunnel Syndrome

Carpal tunnel syndrome occurs when the median nerve becomes compressed as it passes through the wrist, causing numbness, tingling, burning, pain, or weakness in the hand and fingers. Symptoms may interfere with sleep, work, exercise, and everyday activities. Treatment begins with identifying the source and severity of the nerve compression and may include medications, bracing, ultrasound-guided injections, nerve hydrodissection, and other minimally invasive treatments designed to relieve symptoms and potentially avoid surgery.
