Percutaneous tenotomy is a minimally invasive, ultrasound-guided procedure used to treat chronic tendon pain that has not improved with conservative treatment. Through a small incision, specialized technology is used to target and remove damaged tendon tissue while preserving surrounding healthy tissue. The procedure may be used for conditions affecting the elbow, hip, knee, ankle, and other areas and can provide an alternative to more invasive surgery for appropriately selected patients.
