Peripheral Nerve Center

The Peripheral Nerve Center at the Institute of Orthopedics, Spine & Sports provides specialized evaluation and non-surgical treatment for patients suffering from peripheral nerve pain. We care for patients with conditions such as nerve entrapments, nerve injuries, neuropathic pain, and persistent nerve pain following surgery, including patients whose previous nerve surgery did not provide the relief they expected.

Our approach combines comprehensive training in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (Physiatry) and Interventional Pain Management with expertise in both ultrasound-guided and X-ray-guided procedures. This allows us to evaluate nerve pain from multiple perspectives and develop an individualized treatment plan based on its underlying cause.

Treatment options may include ultrasound-guided nerve injections, nerve hydrodissection, diagnostic nerve blocks, and peripheral nerve stimulation, among other minimally invasive therapies. When appropriate, we also collaborate with surgeons and other specialists to ensure patients receive the right care for their condition.

Our goal is simple: identify the source of your nerve pain and, whenever possible, provide an effective treatment option without the need for surgery.
